Tue 16th July (12.30 – 14.30), Sat 19th Oct (12.30 – 14.30)
We all have rolls of paper in our kitchen now that it is so easy to just ‘rip off a sheet’ and have a quick wipe round and then throw it in the bin. Even if the paper is biodegradable it’s still going to take years to compost down. Not to mention the plastic wrap the roll is packaged in on the shelf.
Replace your paper towel with a roll of fabric towels and you will find yourself reaching for them far less and helping save the planet too.
Simply un-pop from the roll, clean your surface and throw in the wash. Once they are clean and dry pop them all back together and roll them back up.
During the session, you will be guided on how to make your fabric towels and attach the poppers and then allowed free reign of the studio for the duration of the class to make as many as you can in the given time frame. If you do not have access to a sewing machine at home to make more then you are welcome to book some additional time in the studio when you wish.
This class is extremely low cost to allow you to purchase your required materials.
Bring along a few old towels and a bundle of scrap fabric. (you will be cutting 9 – 12″ squares from both) You will also need a KAM snap starter set. A little bit of an outlay in the first instance, but we can assure you that once you have one of these you will be poppering everything!!!
You can find them in our Amazon store HERE (Please note Amazon links are affiliate links and as such will not cost you more to shop but will pay Beautiful Things a small commission which we will out towards our running costs)
PLEASE NOTE: If you take this course with us in-person you will also receive access to the online version where you can see our full video tutorial and download PDF instructions to make more bags.
