Wed 3rd July (12.30 – 14.30), Sat 19th Oct (10.00 – 12.00)
In the ongoing fight against waste plastic, more and more supermarkets are abolishing the clear plastic bags we are so used to putting our fresh produce in.
It’s time to fight back against the plastic and take our own produce bags shopping with us. And what’s even better is they are super easy to make.
These bags are made from polyester mesh and nylon ripstop and are washable (just in case those potatoes have more mud than you bargained for). Super light (so you don’t get charged any extra for weight). And really, really easy to make.
During the course, you will receive instruction to make a bag in one of the 2 sizes given and then be able to make as many more as you wish. (they are super easy and fast to sew up). You will receive an instruction sheet enabling you to make a small and large size bag and a full video tutorial.
You will need 1 pack of polyester mesh in the colour of your choice (or an old net curtain) and a minimum of 3 metres of cotton cord (each bag uses approx 1.5metres) All materials are available in our Amazon shop HERE
(Please note Amazon links are affiliate links. Whilst it will cost you no more to purchase from these links, Beautiful Things does gain a small commission which we put towards our running costs).
PLEASE NOTE – This course is due for release on Monday 15th July if not sooner when the course content is finalised and uploaded you will be emailed your access details. (The team are filming and editing as you are reading this so it could be any day now).
