Pauline teaches on a one to one basis and will show you how to operate and maintain your machine and run you through threading, tension & basic serging techniques.   All materials will be provided.   Appointments available during the day on Thursdays, Wednesday (PM), Friday (AM) and Saturday (PM). The session will last for 2 hours.

PLEASE NOTE: Pauline is currently on sabbatical. We are holding a waiting list for pupils wishing to book tuition with her.  You can contact us to add your name HERE

If you are after a more detailed course for using your overlocker then we also run a full 1 day workshop – Learn to love your overlocker, which covers a lot more technique as well as everything offered in this 121 session.

Pauline was a wonderful teacher. Warm and patient and a few hours with her has really given me confidence to use and understand my machine. Really worth while for new overlocker owners.

Spent a really enjoyable couple of hours yesterday in Pauline’s tender hands. She managed to coax back into life my recently acquired but ancient machines and then went on to teach me how to use the over locker. You can find loads on eBay but there is nothing like having an expert at your elbow to teach you really well and answer all your questions. Many thanks also to Claire and BTHQ.
