Macrame is the art of knotting threads together. It was long ago crafted by sailors, especially in elaborate or ornamental knotting forms, to decorate anything from knife handles to bottles to parts of ships.
Maddison will take you through the primary square knot technique to create bracelets with added beads to make it bling. She will talk hitches and half-hitches to have you knotting up at the sides…
Age 11+ (October dates: As these workshops take place in school holidays you are welcome to bring along your older children but they will need a paid space)
